Brief

The main objective of the project was to update existing mobile application to be a fast and easy-to-use travel guide. It was very important to provide the best possible user experience for browsing, creating, discovering, and organizing travel tips shared by travelers who are passionate about exploring the world and telling the Tiplr community about their great finds. We had the task of making the Tiplr application a personal travel agent in the palm of the hand.

Approach

After analyzing the existing application, core performance, and product metrics, our team started working on stability restoration. We enhanced user experience and UI, improved performance, and then started working on extended application functionality, including the ability to save offline drafts, new options for creating tips, and push notifications to grow user engagement. In addition to mobile application updates, we've been working on re-designing and enhancing website functionality.

Outcome

Performant and convenient travel platform for the community of smart travelers with more than 500k members.
